The second weekend in October marks (lol) Mark Applebaum Weekend, a festive time of Fall where people come together to share their thoughts, feelings, and heartz about the music of esteemed wild child California composer Mark Applebaum.

(Mark may be a Cali boy at heart, but did you know that he was born in Chicago? Truth. )

To celebrate, Parlour's Deidre Huckabay and Andrew Tham will be performing his delightfully dexterous composition Aphasia.  The duo will be moving their hands to the sounds of Applebaum's quirky electronic stylings Saturday and Sunday in two locations.  In case you're curious, the piece sounds / looks like this.
